Laspur Valley is located in the North-east of Chitral Town, the main settelements of this valley are Shahidas, Onshot, Herchin, Phargram, Gasht, Raman, Broke, Baleem and Sur Laspur. The area of this valley is 929km2 with the population of Approximate 7,500 people.

The language that is spoken by the locals is Khowar (Chitrali)

Fauna of Laspur Valley

There are wonderful sightings of wildlife such as yaks, ibex, chukor and ram chukor.

How to Reach

Daily public transport (4X4 Jeep) is available between Booni and Laspur on specified timings. It is recommended that 4x4 vehicles be hired in Chitral valley.

Where to Stay

The small hotels in the valley are available. For large tourist groups, it is advisable to carry tents
and sleeping bags. The valley offers great camping sites all around.

What to See

The tourist attractions in this valley are Chitrali culture; Shandur Lake; treks to Goleen Valley and Booni Zom; treks to the Ghizar Valley of the Northern Areas; treks to the Kumrat Valley of Dir Kohistan and the Mahodand and Gabral valleys of Kalam.
