Kamran’s Baradari (12 Archways), the oldest Mughal builing in Lahore, was built in 1540 by Mirza Kamran, son of Babar and Step-brother of Humanyun. It was built as aa summer house
and remaind a recreational place for me Mughal till the Ravi river changed is course during the period of Aurangzed Alamgir. The Baradari has become now an island in the middle of the river (visit by boat, downstream from the Ravi Bridge of GT Road).
