1. Ansoo Lake


Ansoo Lake is situated in Kaghan Valley Mansehra District of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located near Malika Parbat in the Himalayan range at the altitude of 4,245 meters (13,927 ft). This lake is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes of the world.


2. Attabad Lake


Attabad Lake, Hunza Valley, also known as Gojal Lake, is a lake in the Gojal (Upper Hunza Valley of northern Pakistan) created in January 2010 by a landslide dam.

3. Baghsar Lake


Baghsar is a lake situated at 975 m above sea-level in the Samahni Valley, Bhimber District. The lake is roughly half a kilometre long and overlooks the Bandala Valley. The lake is a popular tourist destination.

4. Banjosa Lake


Banjosa Lake is an artificial lake and a tourist resort 20 kilometers (12 mi) from the city of Rawalakot in District Poonch of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 1,981 meters (6,499 ft). The lake is surrounded by dense pine forest and mountains, which make it charming and romantic.

5. Borith Lake


Borith Lake is a lake in the Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan. Borith is a hamlet in the surroundings of the Borith Lake to the northwest of Husseini, a village near Gulmit, Gojal, in the upper Hunza. The altitude of Borith is roughly 2,600 m (8,500 feet) above sea level.

6. Chitta Katha Lake


Chitta Katha Lake is located in Shounter valley, Azad Kashmir at the elevation of 13,500 feet (4,100 m). Chitta Katha means White Stream; it is the local name of the stream coming down from the Hari Parbat originating from the lake called Chitta Katha Sar or lake of the Mount Hari parbat.

7. Chotiari Dam


Chotiari Dam is an artificial water reservoir situated 35 km away from the Sanghar town in Sanghar District, Sindh, Pakistan. It was constructed in December 2002, at the total cost of Rs 6 billion. The main purpose of constructing this dam is to discharge saline water of the Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD).

8. Drigh Lake


Drigh Lake is a preferable place for residents and migratory birds of winters such as Grey Heron, Great White Egret, Painted Snipe, Pintail, Common Teal, Wigeon, Marsh Harrier, Pied Kingfisher, Purple Galinule, Moorhen, Common Pochard, Crow Pheasant, Garganey, Duck, Marbled Teal, Night Heron, Purple Heron, Little Egret, Mallard, Shoveller, Tufted Duck, Osprey, White breasted Kingfisher, Small Blue Kingfishers, White Breasted Waterhen, Cormorant, Pied Harrier, Greater Spotted Eagle, Darter and Coot etc. Currently, this magnificent lake is owned and maintained by the Landlord Chatani Sheikh Family.

9. Dudipatsar Lake


Dudipatsar Lake or Dudipat Lake is a lake encircled by snow clad peaks in Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park. The lake lies in the extreme north of the Kaghan Valley, in the Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in northern Pakistan.

10. Hadero Lake


Hadero is significant salty water wetland of Sindh, where variation of waterfowl favors to pass the time. At this magnificent lake, one is more excited to see Cranes, Swans and Stocks and the flock of Pelicans. This lake is believed to be one of the most favorite lakes of Ornithologists. Government has owned this lake.
